This week we had a picnic by the lake on Monday. Daddy went to get his third COVID shot, and after our picnic we had Blizzards from Dairy Queen.
Picnic lunch by the lake.
On Saturday our friend down the street invited us over to watch some movies on her garage (she has a projector). We had a good time, despite the bugs, and I discovered I love s'mores (after Mommy forced me to try one). I also made a new friend, Daniel, whose Grandma and Grandpa live just down the street from us.
Testing out the hammock chair.
Watcing Ninjago on the garage.
Hanging out with Daniel, the other kid at the party.
Mommy was excited to burn things in the fire.
I got to sit with Lucy.
Since it's a holiday weekend, I'm just going to include Monday with last week's happenings. Monday morning we met Kara, Josh, and Freya at a park. We played with Freya's RC truck, we did some laser tag, ran around on the playground equipment (before it got too busy), saw a barge go by, and Daddy managed to see a bald eagle catch a fish in the river. After all that we went to get some pie.
Daddy wants to play catch.
Do these fit me?
Learning how to use the Laser Tag guns.
The barge that went by.
Waiting for pie.
It was worth the wait.
Exploring the kiln with Freya.
After we got home, I helped Mom do some cleaning and laundry, and then Dad and I watched some Ninjago and read our Percy Jackson book.
Summer is coming to an end and home school starts up again next week. Until next time - stay safe!
