Tuesday we went to swap presents with Kara and both sets of grandparents. We also got to go see Indy for a little bit - and he is huge!
Indy and Sampson with Dad.
Me with the pups.
He's already as big as Duke was, and he's only 7 months old!
And I got to open another present from Mom and Dad when we got home.
A calendar for next year.
Daddy had to work on Wednesday, but I opened a present when he was home for lunch.
I've been wanting this for a while - a NINJAGO video game!
After Daddy went back to work, we had a visitor!
Santa Dog! (Really, it's Orrey from two blocks away)
Later in the day we delivered some cookies and cakes to a few friends in town before the winter storm that wasn't hit town. We got a tiny bit of ice and less than an inch of snow - just enough to have an almost white Christmas (but not enough for Mommy to sing the song).
And then it was Christmas Eve - so we could get serious about opening presents.
A war game for me to play!
A Grizzly and the Lemmings coloring book!
History comic books!
Daddy got a Star Wars shirt.
Mommy got some presents, too. Candy, gift cards, and some puzzle books.
Having fun opening presents.
A castle-building kit.
More colored pencils!
Another book about military history!
We took a break from presents to play some BINGO.
Playing BINGO! I won three times!
And then back to opening presents...
More magnatiles!
LEGO Pirate ship!
NINJAGO Fire Fang!
World War I!
World War II!
American History!
An AT-ST from the Mandalorian!
The Razor Crest!
Whew! After all that, I needed a little rest.
Christmas morning, there were more presents to open - from the stockings and from under the tree!
A Doctor Who shirt (I'll have to grow into).
A dog encyclopedia!
A book of world leaders!
More military vehicles!
Even MORE magnatiles!
I spent the rest of the day playing with my new magnatiles and planning what LEGO set I was going to build first.
On Saturday, Mom sharpened all my pencils with my new electric pencil sharpener, Dad and I built the pirate ship, and we watched some Grizzly and the Lemmings.
My pencils, all sorted and sharpened.
My pirate ship - all built and ready for fun!
And on Sunday, Dad and I built the AT-ST and watched Gladiator - it was a little bloody, but I'm glad the bad guy emperor died in the end, even if it wasn't what really happened.
And that was the week that was! Thanks to everyone for presents and cards - and I hope y'all had at least half as much fun as I did. Merry Christmas!
P.S. If you sent something and there wasn't a picture, sorry! We tried to get decent pictures of everything, but sometimes I am not very cooperative and pictures are just too blurry.
