Well, this was a big week. Monday was a holiday. Dad and Indy came to pick me up from Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's. Tuesday was the first day of school.
First day of 4th grade!
And one with Indy.
School didn't last long. After nearly four days of no response to her emails, and no interaction with the school or any teacher on the first day, Mommy found out Wednesday night that my newly assigned teacher wasn't even working yet. So we are going to just do home school now, and skip trying to deal with all those people and all those rules.
The construction crew finally made it to our block, so now we can watch them work from our windows. Of course, I still wanted to go outside.
Watching in the rain.
There goes our corner....
We spent a lot of time with Indy because we knew his time with us was coming to an end. Mommy's allergies are really bad, so Dad and Mom were working to find a good home for him.
Sleeping under the table by Daddy's feet.
Keeping an eye on Mom in the kitchen - in case some food drops.
Me and Indy.
Indy and me.
Playing ball in the house.
Watching the crane truck.
Indy at the dog park in our town.
Indy trying to eat his tail.
On Saturday we moved Indy to his new home with Bill (the person) and Sampson (the dog). Indy was really excited once he got to his new house, and he played with Sampson in the backyard for quite a while. When we left he went into his new house. Bill said later it took Indy a few hours to come out of the kitchen, but later he was sleeping on the couch.

I'm pretty sad about Indy moving out, but Mommy is feeling better and Indy really likes his new home. Bill lets him sleep on the couch and he has been going to the dog park. We will get to see Indy again soon, the next time we go to visit Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne.
Well, that was my week. Very eventful. I will have another first day of school coming up once Mommy gets all my curriculum picked out and my lesson plans set up. It seems strange, but then that's kind of the story of this whole year.
Take care! Stay safe and wear your mask!
