Thanksgiving Break

2019-12-01

Monday I finally got my flu shot - after being sick with pneumonia and then impetigo, I was finally healthy enough to get the shot.

Waiting to get my flu shot.

Enjoying my reward for getting my flu shot.

My Thanksgiving break from school started early when we had an ice/snow storm on Tuesday night and school got canceled for Wednesday. Mom and I played some games to pass the time.

Celebrating my Settlers of Catan victory!

Once the weather cleared, I went to stay with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al. Daddy and I went to visit Great-grandma Darlene because she was in the hospital due to some complications from her recent surgery. While I was visiting, I played with Loki and played out in the snow.

Snuggling Loki.

Tug-of-war with Loki's hedgehog (that she later tore to pieces)

Shoveling for Grandpa Al.

This is some heavy snow....

Loki was inspecting my work.

We made a snowman!

There was another snow storm on Sunday when Daddy came to get me. Grandpa and I spent the day playing checkers and a fun version of tic-tac-toe that I got for Christmas a few years ago.

Playing Gobble Gobblers with Grandpa.

Dad and I made it home safely, even though the roads were snowy and icy.

But this week wasn't all fun. Grandpa Kevin's brother Roger passed away. I only met him once, and I am sad I won't get to see him again. Here's a picture of him watching me and Grandpa Kevin play a video game:

And that was my week - take care.
