Road Trip!

2019-06-30

This week I started out at Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's, playing and reading and eating ice cream.

Building a race track for my cars.

Looking for tools to build a dog wash.

On Wednesday I went to join Mom at the farmer's market (Daddy was at a different one).

Newborn calves at the Wednesday market!

On Friday we did some more baseball practice.

Getting in some swings.

Saturday we had another market, and I ran in a race!

Getting ready for the Super Race!

Almost time to run!

Almost to the finish line! (This picture was in the newspaper - the online version)

After the race, we went home and packed up and left for a baseball adventure! We went to Miller Park to see the Brewers, who were playing the Pirates.

At a new ballpark!

Me and Mom in our seats!

Having a look at the stadium.

Another foul ball! This one was hit by Eric Thames - #7 for the Brewers.

A beautiful night for baseball.

Mommy had to have a hot dog.

We had a quiet night in the hotel, and decided in the morning to go to another baseball game - this time to see the Twins play the White Sox in Chicago. On the way we stopped to see a cool lighthouse and Lake Michigan!

Mommy in Lake Michigan.

Hunting for rocks with Daddy.

Me and Mom on the beach.

The lighthouse.

The lighthouse and the keeper's building.

After navigating through the traffic in Chicago, we finally made it to a parking space at the stadium and headed into the game.

Me and Mommy not really cooperating with Daddy for a picture in front of White Sox stadium.

Checking out the menu of food we can have delivered to our seats.

Me and Mom in our seats.

Daddy and I took a walk around the stadium and found some fun activities to do - and here are three little videos of them:

Racing to first against the White Sox player.

A little pitching practice.

And scooping up some ground balls.

Me with the Carlton Fisk statue.

The view from the outfield seats.

And then it was time for the game to start.

Play ball!

A storm rolled in during the 4th inning.

More fun clouds.

Just before the rain came...

During the rain delay I found some other boys to play with. We pretended to play baseball.

After two and a half hours it was time to get the game going again.

Me and my new friend trying to will a foul ball to come up to us.

Not many people waited out the rain.

The Chicago skyline.

The Sox sign.

If you didn't watch the game, the Twins lost.

And that was the week - but not the end of the adventure...we kept on going through Monday, but you can read all about that next time. Take care!
