Play Ball!

This week I had my track and field competition and we went to a couple of baseball games! I even got to stay in a hotel and go to a waterpark! Lots of pictures and even some video - so let's get started.

Friday I went to school, but left right away to get to the track and field event, which was not held at my school as it was supposed to be because of the rain. Mom and Dad, GG, Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne all came to see me. And so did Angie, Sawyer, and Kyra. And of course I saw a lot of people I know from other schools, too.

After the event, we all went to Culver's for lunch, and then we were off for our weekend adventure. We got to the hotel, and went to the arcade for a little bit, and then to the waterpark. Daddy and I floated in the lazy river and then we went down the waterslide a lot of times. We finally had to stop because we needed to leave for the baseball game.

We got to the ballpark early enough to look around and find some tasty things to eat. I ended up getting a vegan brat, an ice cream sandwich, mini donuts, a pretzel, and a couple bottles of water (not all at once, of course). We also saw a lot of people in Star Wars costumes. We cheered and clapped - and the Saints almost had a chance to win, but they left too many guys on base. When the game was done, there was a fireworks show!

What a play!

In the morning we got up and went to the waterpark again - for a lot more watersliding! And more time at the arcade, and a big lunch at the buffet. Mommy bought tickets for another game, so we headed back to the ballpark late in the afternoon. It was a special night for a hockey team that used to play in St. Paul, and the Hanson brothers from Slap Shot were there. And so were Joe and Blandine - who sat by us for the game. The Saints won this time - but it was a close one!

We got back to the hotel a little earlier than after the first game. In the morning we just went for breakfast and packed up to go home. By noon were back in the house and I was building with my blocks and playing with some of the toys I won at the arcade.
