This week we traveled up north to be with Bob and go to the service and celebration for Auntie Jenn. Daddy and I went with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al.
Having lunch at Culver's on the way there.
Since there were so many of us, and the house was in the middle of some renovations, Jim brought over his ice house for me and Daddy to sleep in. It was really nice in there - and quiet.
In the ice house where we slept for a couple of nights.
The ice house from the outside.
Since we were at the farm, I really wanted to see the machinery, so we went out to the shop and the shed a couple of times, despite the cold.
Visiting the tractors.
My new favorite, the 8225 with the snowblower.
The church was packed for the service on Friday. Lots of people came for Jenn - which is good, because she did a lot for a lot of people. After the service, we went to a celebration of life - and almost everyone from the church came there as well. I had a drink from the bar, hung out with my new best friend Trevor, and Daddy spent some time visiting with people he hadn't seen since he stayed with Jenn and Bob back when he was a kid.
I can't believe they didn't ask for my ID....
Me and Trevor.
Daddy and Melanie.
A good picture of me in my nice shirt I couldn't wait to take off.
After the party, I persuaded Daddy to take me out to look at tractors again.
Me and Grandpa Al - sitting in a tractor in a cold, dark shed.
Me in the new Bobcat - in the warm, well-lit shop.
Showing Clint how the tractor works.
Back at the house, we visited with the family and had some fun.
Playing with Clint.
Laughing with Clint and Brad.
Learning a new game with Bob - where we tried to slap each other's hands.
Sunday morning it was time to go home. But Daddy and I are going back to see Bob soon and help with seeding, and we will go up for the harvest, too.
And that was my week. Take care!
