Sad This Week

This past week we found out that Auntie Jenn has something called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. She is in the hospital and we went to visit her a few times. Daddy spent a lot more time there than me - it is hard to be a little kid in the hospital. The whole family has shown up for her, which is a good demonstration of how much we all love her. But we are all very sad because there is nothing to be done except try to make her as comfortable as possible.

Great-grandma Darlene was also in the hospital this week, because she fell and broke three of her ribs. She was doing well enough to be released after a few days, which is good. She is a tough old lady.
