Summer is winding down, but there was time for one more big adventure. Monday we had the eclipse, which I missed, but Mommy and Daddy got to see it. I was staying with Grandma and Grandpa, since Mommy had school and Daddy had to work.

Wednesday I went with Grandpa and Grandma to get Daddy so we could go on our trip the next day. And Thursday morning we packed up and picked up Great-grandma Darlene, and drove north all day. By the time we got there, said hi to Jenn, and unpacked, Bob was ready to give us a boat ride, which was a nice way to end the day.
We made it Jenn and Bob's house.
Boat ride!
Friday morning we made pancakes for breakfast, and I helped. We also went out to see the farm in the morning, until Daddy needed to drive the trucks for Bob.

Skid loader time!
Let's get to work, Dad.
Watching the combine.
Riding in the truck with Daddy.
Switching trucks.
Saturday was a little gray and drizzly, so we didn't get to do any combining or truck driving. But I did get to ride on a bulldozer! And on Bob's trailer he tows with the lawnmower.
Here comes the bulldozer.
Let's move some dirt.
Getting a ride in the tractor with Jim.
I used the fancy outhouse.
On the cool trailer Bob made to bring people down to the boat.
Sunday was nicer, but we had to wait to get to work, so we took another ride on the trailer.

In the truck again.

Back at the house after a long day of work.
That was the week - but we still had more farming to do. Stay tuned.
