Track Meet

This week I had some new kinds of fun. Friday was a special track meet for all of the little schools in the area. I was a competitor in the softball throw, the running long jump, the ball kick, and the 50-meter dash. I fell during my race, but I got back up and finished. I saw a lot of my friends there, including Brandon, my swimming teacher, and Kelly from when I first started school at the children's center. Auntie Kara and Freya came down to cheer me on with Mom and Dad. And after it was over we went out for pizza!

Saturday was Alex's birthday party - which was at the Y. We played in the gym and the indoor playground, ate pizza and cookies and cake, and had lots of fun.

After the party, we drove up to Freya's house. It was Kara and Josh's anniversary, and we watched Freya so they could go out to celebrate. And then on Sunday, Mommy and Kara had some event to go to at a farm - so Me, Daddy, Josh, and Freya went to the zoo to see the kangaroos!

Josh dropped me and Daddy off at the mall, and we spent some time looking around, having lunch and ice cream, and buying a Tigger toy. We also got a book about the Cars movies and two about PJ Masks. Then we rode the light rail to the station closest to Freya's house and walked from there. It was a lot of fun.

I slept most of the way home, since we left Freya's just about at my bedtime. Mommy and Daddy made me walk into the house, though - they said I am too big to carry.
