This week we had a few good days without rain and we spent them outside. I also went swimming again. And we stayed home this weekend: Mommy had homework and Daddy hurt his back - so no traveling; we visited with people in our town instead.
Out at the park with Mom.
Using my binoculars to watch some Canada Geese.
Getting a closer look.
Wanting to meet some new people. Mom said it was creepy to hide behind the tree.
Wednesday we had rain, but I also had my swimming lesson. I am now signed up for more lessons with my favorite teacher!
I was good at my swimming lesson so I got to go off the diving board - two times!
My teacher has a farm, and she brought in a surprise for us this week...
Some baby chicks my teacher brought to our classroom.
Saturday was a big day. We built a LEGO volcano in the morning, then we went to the Earth Day Celebration/Farmer's Market for a few hours. We were just going to stop for a few minutes, but Mom and Daddy were talking to a lot of people, and there was a bus to play on and a cherry picker to sit in, and music, and a playground. So it was about three hours instead of fifteen minutes. After all that, we ran some errands, then built more LEGO, washed the car (daddy paid me a dollar for helping him because I did such a good job not spraying him with the hose), and then we went to a falafel party and I stayed up really late - we didn't get home until almost 10:00 PM! (No pictures of that, though - we were outside and it was a little too dark for good pictures.)
At the farmer's market with Mom, having a crepe.
Trying out a new slide.
Pretending to drive the school bus.
Sitting in the cherry picker the city uses to trim trees.
Pedaling a cool trike with a trailer.
Helping Daddy finish up washing the car.
Sunday we built some more LEGO - a crawler that goes with my volcano, and then went bird watching with Mom. We saw a lot of birds, but I had more fun when we went to the drive-in and I got some ice cream. And we saw my friend Logan from school!
Me and Daddy, out bird watching with Mom.
Having fun with Logan at the drive-in.
After all that, we still found time to move the sandbox, go to the grocery store, and race some of my new toy cars.
It was a great week! Take care!
