Happy New Year

2017-01-01

We finished 2016 with a flurry of activity. I spent the week with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne so Mommy and Daddy could have some time alone, and then we had another Christmas party and a Crayola Experience.

A picture of Mommy from her week off.

Saturday we had the Christmas party at the tower.

Great-grandma Dorothy and Brandi.

Me and Mommy playing train at the Christmas party.

Practicing writing with Uncle Neil.

Opening presents.

Yay! A LEGO helicopter!

A pirate book!

A book about telling time.

A thank you hug for Auntie Diane.

Doing the money dance while I open my cards!

Another surprise? What could it be?

What are those?

DRUMS!

Christopher gave me his drum set. Awesome!

Working on getting everyone to ride the train.

After the Christmas party, Mommy and Daddy went to a New Year's party - but they didn't tell me it was at Kara and Josh's house!

Daddy playing a silly game at Kara and Josh's party. He's supposed to get the cookie in his mouth without using his hands.

Mommy giving it a try.

Josh - picking up noodles.

Kara picking up noodles.

Then it was New Year's Day and Mommy, Kara, and Freya came to get me so we could all go to the Crayola Experience.

Josh wanted to try this game, since he didn't get to do it the night before.

Making crayons.

Naming the colors.

Playing with modeling clay.

Watching the cars we decorated drive around on the screen.

There they are!

Wow - that is cool.

Picking out some crayons to take home.

So many to choose from...better get some of each!

Back at Kara and Josh's house there were more presents to open from Michael and Molly, and from Nancy and Dave.

Opening more presents.

It's a LEGO boat!

I'm getting pretty fast at unwrapping presents.

Oooh! A book about the weather!

And that was my last week of 2016 fun - it just spilled over into 2017!

Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season! Thanks for all the cards and presents!

Take care!
