Owl-o-Ween

This was a good week - lots of fun things to do.

Monday
Neighbor Jim was done playing music at the bar for the year, so I played in his driveway with his grandson Easton, instead. We played catch, bounced superballs, and took turns pulling each other in the wagon - until it got dark and I had to go in for supper.

Friday
I finished all my reading at home for the month - and I got a free pizza! So after Daddy got home from work, we went to have pizza for supper. Mommy went to get her hair done. After supper we did some climbing and played in the football stadium at one of the schools in town.

Then we went to get Mommy, but she wasn't ready. So we walked over to the police station and talked to a lady with a goat, who gave me a coupon for free ice cream. True story. This is what happens when you're out after dark downtown.

Saturday
We went on an adventure for the day. We went to a new place like the Eagle Center, except they have owls! I hadn't seen owls before. They were very interesting.

But the owl pooped on the floor!

After the owls, we went to have some lunch. I played with some toys.

Then we went to a special farm that saves and distributes seeds.

I also found some sand to play in.

We hiked up to an overlook.

And I found some rocks to toss in the water.

Then we stopped for some ice cream on the way home.

That is a moly ice cream cone. And a big cookie.

Sunday
We worked in the garden in the morning, pulling up the last of the plants and turning over the soil. Then we made one last trip to see the goats at the compost farm.

In the afternoon, Angie and Sawyer came over.

We played with my helicopters.

And of course we had to use my free ice cream coupon.

Sawyer stayed for a while after ice cream and we flew the helicopters some more and made a lot of paper airplanes. Then we went to the grocery store before taking him home. After that, Daddy gave me a bath and it was time for bed.

My new owl friends: Pop and Pip. Pop is the daddy owl and Pip is the baby owl.
