Riding My Bike and Other Adventures

An eventful week - here we go:

Monday

The week started with school, of course, and then I went to the bar to do some signing with my neighbor, Jim.

Tuesday

I learned to ride my bike without training wheels.

I went to campus with Mommy and my bike, and after a few tries I just did it. I got some bumps and bruises, but I was able to ride almost all the way across campus by the end of the afternoon.

I went back to campus with Mommy for a meeting - and tried riding a skateboard, too.

Friday

Was a little more exciting than I wanted. I fell at school and hit my face on the playground equipment. My gum was bleeding, I knocked a tooth loose, and I have a cut on my upper lip.

Daddy came to get me and we had Dr. Brad have a look at it - nothing the dentist could do, so we got me some cold treats and soft things to eat while my mouth heals up, and then went home.

Later in the day we ahead with our regular plans, and went to see Freya and Kara. Uncle Josh is in Thailand.

And since we were nearby, we stopped at the LEGO store to get the Holiday Train I've been saving up for.

Saturday

We went to the Zoo with Freya while Kara was selling books at a show. We walked everywhere!

After the zoo we stayed at home and played around the house.

Sunday

The week finished off quietly. I went with Kara, Freya and Mommy to get some donuts, and then we drove home. Mommy went to study for her physics test, and Daddy and I played with LEGO, took a walk to the playground, bought some groceries, and went to get Mommy.

And that was my week. Take care!
