Third Week of School

School definitely has put a damper on adventure so far. We stuck close to home this week again, so here are few pictures of our activities.

Monday Daddy and I had to get our new tires put on the car. The dealership really knows how to take care of customers: free popcorn, free beverages, a kids room, and they were really nice. We also looked at some cars.

Tuesday Mommy and I went shopping for a new backpack because my PAW Patrol bag is too small to carry all of my things. We went all over town before we finally found one I liked.

Wednesday I went to campus with Mommy and I had an ice cream cone. When Daddy was done with his meeting, we went to Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel's to help them finish packing up the house - they are moving south to live with Uncle Bruce and Aunt Julia.

Just as we were saying goodbye, the ice cream cone returned - all over GG and Mommy. Once we got it all cleaned up, we went home. I slept all the way.

Thursday we spent more time on campus - this time flying my helicopter. I got lots of people to try it out - and one of them broke it. I was sad, but I got over it.

Friday I went on my first field trip for school - to the apple orchard. I wore my new rain boots. The boots are orange and black with dinosaurs on them.

Saturday morning we went to Mommy's scholarship breakfast. Mommy won more scholarships for more money than any other student on campus because she's the best! Yay Mommy! I went up with her when they called her name and got my picture taken with the president of the university.

After the breakfast we went on a little adventure with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne. We went out for lunch, then Mommy and Grandma went shopping for food while me, Grandpa and Daddy went shopping for trucks. Daddy was lazy and didn't get any pictures.

I went with Grandma and Grandpa when they left, and they brought me home on Sunday afternoon. Mommy and Daddy decided to make a big mess in the kitchen and dining room and then clean it up. Not how I would have spent my day off, but there you go. It takes all kinds.
