The Adventure Continues!

2016-07-03

This week was full of adventure. Mommy and I took care of Freya's puppies and went on some fun adventures. On Friday we met Daddy, Grandpa Al, and Grandma Wynne at the zoo. And Daddy stayed with us after that.

[Note from Daddy and Mommy: Henry was saying "holy moly" a lot when he was excited this past month, but now he has started describing anything that is impressively big or exciting as "moly" - like the "moly pickles" he had for lunch a couple times this week.]

Monday

We went to the Mall and went on some rides at the amusement park. We rode the spinning roller coaster and the ferris wheel and lots of other things. And I got a moly pickle for lunch!

It's my favorite roller coaster!

On the little roller coaster - all by myself.

In the race cars.

Tuesday

Mommy and I rode the light rail and went to the Science Museum. Once we were there we had a lot of fun and played with a lot of interesting machines and instruments.

That's a big astronaut...

Piloting the tow boat.

Playing with an air chamber.

There it goes!

Using an air cannon to push the green ball around.

It's kinda hard to turn.

Ice cream!

I know what to do here!

CRASH!

Another moly dinosaur!

Wednesday and Thursday

After all the excitement of the past couple days and the weekend with Kara, Josh, and Freya, we needed a little break. So we stayed home for a couple days and played in the house and in the yard.

Taking a break from adventure and playing in the yard.

Friday

We met Daddy and Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne at the zoo! We just did the outside parts fo the zoo, and then we went to the Mall for lunch. But first we went to the LEGO store and I got to use some of my allowance to buy some LEGO airplanes! After lunch, I got to go on some rides again - and Grandpa went on the orange roller coaster with me!

Going for a camel ride with Daddy!

Daddy said he's good for camel rides from now on.

Let's get these cars started already.

A little video of riding the bumper cars.

Saturday

Now it was just me, Mommy, and Daddy, and we went to the Transportation Museum at the Roundhouse. We got there early to be first in line to ride the train - so we got to ride in the engine! We took a break after that, and I played with the toy trains and went on a tour of the roundhouse with Daddy and Sven. We got to see a steam engine all in pieces and watch some guys heat up metal and bend it! Then went for a second ride, this time in the caboose! Before we left we played in one of the passenger cars.

Blowing the whistle!

The train we get to ride - on the turntable!

After we got back to the house, Daddy and I went to the LEGO store again and bought some race cars to build and some bricks to make more bridges.

Sunday

We were all tired, so we just met Pelly and Tony for lunch on Sunday. Then Mommy and I went back to the house and had a nice nap.

Having lunch with Pelly and Tony.

And that was it for my week - take care everyone!
