Away From Home

2016-06-19

My first week out of school I spent away from home. Daddy had to work, and Mommy had another conference, so I stayed with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne for the week. I had a lot of fun. I did some visiting, I spent a day with GG, I had a playdate with some other little boys, and I ate a lot of ice cream. Here are the pictures:

Riding my new toy, that used to belong to Max.

Cleaning or playing?

Visiting Great-grandma Dorothy in the tower.

Having a snack at GG's - we also went to a garage sale and I got a motorized excavator!

Visiting Great-grandma Darlene at her house.

Getting a hug.

Visiting Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel.

Playing trains with my new friends.

Having my favorite food for lunch.

Just before we all got soaked.

Now it begins....

Why fool around? I went right for the hose.

We weren't home very long on Saturday before some of Mommy and Daddy's friends came over with their kids. We played with LEGO and my Thomas trains.

And as you can see, we played with our food.

And we got a little sandbox time.

On Sunday, Daddy and I built a spaceship/train/submarine out of some cardboard boxes. Then we went out for lunch and ice cream. We tried to do some shopping, but the store was really crowded, so we came home instead. Then Daddy built towers for me to knock down and we watched the Thomas movie about Hiro, who is Daddy's favorite.

Then I had to go to bed.

That was my week. Take care, everyone!
