We had a big holiday weekend! Friday we left home to stay in a hotel for three nights.
On Saturday we went to the State Fair! We went early - very early. There was almost no one there, as you can see in the picture below (it was much busier when we left, as you will see later).
At the State Fair - 7:00 AM.
Kara, Josh, and Freya met us at the fair and we spent the day with them looking at animals, meeting senators, going on rides, playing games, and eating lots of fun food.

So here are the before and after pictures - on the top from 7:00 AM, on the bottom from 2:00 PM when we left. There were 211,216 people with us at the fair on Saturday.
Leaving the fair.
After the fair we went to Josh and Kara's for a nap, we went out for supper, and then we went back to the hotel.
Sunday morning we went to the amusement park at the mall. It was very crowded so I didn't get to go on a lot of rides, but I went on the trucks with Freya, the big roller coaster with Mommy, the bumper cars by myself, and the Log Chute with Mommy and Daddy - we got a little wet. After all that we had some lunch in the new food court and ate some frozen yogurt in our secret spot.

After we'd had enough of the crowds at the mall, we went to Freya's house and watched some Daniel Tiger. And then we had pizza for supper!

Monday morning we went to the zoo! Thankfully it wasn't raining and it wasn't hot. We saw the bears playing in the water and two big tigers. I got to ride on a camel with Mommy and ride on the carousel with Kara! Daddy and I walked over to the farm and rode the tractor back, then we had some lunch.

After the zoo we stopped at Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's on the way home to pick up Duke - and then we went home to play with my LEGO trains.
And that was enough excitement for one weekend.
