On the Farm and Other Adventures

This past week I had a lot of fun: I played baseball, rode in Grandpa Al's truck, went to some parks, saw a giant prairie chicken, and visited the farm.

First, we stopped to see Great-grandma Dorothy and there was a nice puppy that came to see me.

Then I went to a park with Grandpa Al and Mommy and played with my baseball bat.

Then we went to see Daddy in the emergency room. He went in because his chest hurt and they made him stay overnight to run a lot of tests. But he's okay - the doctors didn't find anything wrong with his heart.

The next day I rode with Grandpa in his truck for a couple of hours.

After my ride I went to visit Grandma Wynne at work and we played on the slide by her office. I also got a little school bus from Bea - thank you!

I'm not supposed to be doing it this way, but it's so much fun!

And then we went to visit Jenn and Bob on the farm with Grandma Wynne. It was a long drive. We stopped for lunch and I have Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes.

We also saw this on the side of the road and stopped so I could run around.

I was raining when we got to the farm, but I still got in a few rides on the golf cart. The next day we visited all the machinery. Here a a few pictures:

And then we went on a boat ride! We took Jenn and Bob's pontoon boat on the river. The captain even let me steer a little bit!

The next day we saw some more machinery and went to some parks to play with Grandma and Jenn.

And finally we did some relaxing in the basement bar.

Our trip home was uneventful, and we made good time. We got home with enough time to me to play with my toys and say hello to all my stuffed animal friends.

Thanks to Jenn and Bob for letting us stay - and letting me drive the loader all over the yard! Bob, next time could you please leave some dirt or rocks for me to scoop up with the loader?
