My New School and a Week of Visitors

This week I started at a new school - I get to go where Angie has a classroom on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Daddy comes to get me on his lunch time and we drive over there. The new school is really nice - they have a bus to drive and car ramps to play with and it is a little more quiet than Cassie's room because there aren't so many kids. And I get to play with Angie and Marsha, who I really like.

We also had a lot of visitors week - dinner parties on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. I guess Mommy misses being an event planner.

On Wednesday Angie and Sawyer came over for supper and they stayed to play with me while Mommy and Daddy went to see a lecture on campus. We had spaghetti for supper and then we had lots of fun playing with my LEGO downstairs.

On Thursday night Kathy came over for waffles. She watched me play with my trains in the basement, but mostly she talked to Mommy and Daddy. Sorry we didn't get any pictures.

Friday night we returned Uncle Neil's computer, so we stayed at Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's house. I got to help Grandpa Al bring the blue truck from the shop back to the plant, That was fun!

Daddy went shopping Saturday morning and I helped Grandpa rake leaves and earned some money for my piggy bank. I am saving up to buy Stephen, one of the trains from the Thomas movie King of the Railway. When Daddy was done shopping we stopped to see Great-grandma Dorothy for a little while before lunch. Since it was too cold to ride outside, I brought my trike to the tower so I could ride inside.

I had lunch at Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house and then we had to go home because Maya and her parents were coming to see us. Maya is in my class at school and her parents are professors at the school where Mommy goes and Daddy works. I showed her all my toys, we played hide-and-seek, we made supper in my kitchen, and we played with my LEGO in the basement. We had tacos for supper and Mommy made lots of cupcakes for dessert!

After all that excitement, I spent Sunday at home. I slept in until 7:00, then after breakfast I played with Mommy while Daddy walked Duke. Then Daddy and I played the rest of the day, except for my nap, while Mommy went to school to study.
