This week I stayed home from school with Daddy for a couple of days, and we all went to Auntie Kara's and Uncle Josh's house to watch Bex and Lucy for the holiday weekend.
On Monday and Tuesday, Daddy and I played with LEGO and with cups and sand - and I jumped out of my tent, tripped, and gave myself a black eye by smashing my face into my play kitchen in my room. Ouch! It's getting better, though. Monday was also Daddy's birthday, so Mommy and I made him blueberry muffins as a treat.

It's okay, Mom. I've got this.
Building towers...
...and knocking them down!
Wednesday morning we drove up to Kara and Josh's house. We walked through a snowstorm to get to the train, then went to the airport to get Kara and Josh's van - it was quite an adventure! After we got the van, we went to the mall and went on the rides and visited the LEGO store. The most exciting part was that I found Ms. Sally! I spent all my piggy bank money to buy a set of Cars toys with her in it.

On the bus. Mommy is just pretending to be excited. (She doesn't like the bus ride.)

Waiting for lunch - not waiting to unbox my new toys! That's Ms. Sally in the bottom right corner of the picture.
It was much easier to fall asleep after Mommy and Daddy figured out how to recline the seat.

For Thanksgiving day we built LEGO all morning, then went to Aunt Nancy's house for dinner. Mommy and Daddy forgot to take pictures, so it's not my fault you won't get to see Nancy, Gary, Les, and Muriel this week. We went out for lunch on Friday and did a little shopping - but stayed away from the malls and the big chain stores. Mommy got a new pair of shoes and I got a stainless steel cup. Saturday we stayed in all day and played with LEGO and watched movies.

I fed the puppies!
Sunday morning we packed up all our stuff and went home. Mommy stayed at the house and worked on her homework and Daddy and I went to get Duke from Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house. Daddy and Grandma Wynne and I went to see Great-grandma Dorothy in her tower, and David and Diane were there, too!

I took this picture all by myself.
I took this one too, but Grandma Wynne helped me keep my thumb out of the shot.
After all that, Daddy, Duke, and I went home. What a fun week!
Take care, everyone!
What to build first...
