This post covers July 29th through August 3rd.
This week Daddy put me to work helping him clean up the weeds growing through the seams of our driveway (in case you are wondering, I begged to use the shovel):
Not bad for a little guy, eh?
And we had our first big harvest of the garden this week.
Garden haul.
We also had some bad news with the garden: bugs were eating our squash and zucchini, so we had to pull them up. I guess that means we won't be trying to force vegetables on everyone this fall when we have way more than we can eat.
And we stayed home this weekend. I went with Mommy to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning and spent some time with Garrett from school.
Me and Garrett.
Garrett.
After the Farmer's Market we went out for lunch and saw the eagles. On the way home we stopped to visit Rosa and her Mommy and Daddy. On Sunday, we played with LEGO in the morning and Daddy built me a new trailer for my trucks (it's the black and orange one on the right of the picture). And since I was working for Daddy this week I got a new LEGO set with a helicopter! We put it together after nap (you can see the helicopter and the trailer in the bottom corner of the picture). Daddy says based on the amount of time I spent working and the price of the set, my pay rate was about $90 an hour. Nice work if you can get it.
At home, playing with a few toys.
And that was my week. Take care, everyone!
