Back home again this week - in fact, I didn't even leave town after we arrived home last Sunday.
I had a good week in school, and then we had Friday off. Daddy stayed home with me while Mommy went to class. I remembered there was a LEGO train in the basement and Daddy went to get it for me. We had a lot of fun once Daddy put the new batteries in the motor. And I got to run the train with the remote control!
Running the remote control for the LEGO train. Hooking up the train cars. Saturday morning we went downtown to see some trucks. The public parking lots downtown had trucks parked in them and I got to sit in almost all of them! And honk their horns! No foolin' - and no one got mad at me for honking the horns, either (even the air horns). I also got to go in a bouncy house for the first time. It won't be the last. In the crane truck, with Daddy standing by. Driving the bus. In the bouncy house. Ready to go down the bouncy house slide. Checking out the Peterbilt milk truck with Daddy. Some of you may have seen my picture in the paper - here is a picture Mommy took of me getting my picture taken by the newspaper photographer (he's on the right - the guy on the left is Daddy). In the ambulance, getting my picture taken for the local paper. And this is the picture of me on the website - I don't know yet if I made the print paper. The picture from the non-Mommy photographer. Back to trucks... Watching the ladder truck with Daddy. Sitting in the fire truck. Mommy tried on the fireman hat. Driving the orange snow plow truck. After some dinner and a nap, we went to visit our friends Rosa, Bonnie, and Adam. I played with Rosa while Mommy and Daddy talked. And talked. And talked. I played with Mommy on Sunday morning while Daddy went in to work for a few hours. I rode my bike and went to check out the excavator a block from my house (I've been checking up on it a couple of times a day all week). We found out a new house is going to be built on the spot where the old house was torn down last week. Daddy watched me in the afternoon while Mommy studied for a test. We spent the time outside - we went for a walk with the wagon and I went down a big slide and then played in a sandbox with my friend Maggie. Then we took Duke for a walk. Here are a couple of pictures from my wagon trip. I persuaded Daddy to let me pull the wagon. Pulling my wagon. Off we go... Right after the second picture was taken I fell down and scraped my elbow. I didn't even notice it until Daddy grabbed my arm to take a look at it - I just got back up and started pulling the wagon again. And that was it. Daddy says we get to go to Bob and Jenn's house in a little over a week. But I don't know what a week is.... Hopefully it's not too long. Take care!
