All the Fun Packed Into Two Days

2014-03-30

This week was uneventful, and all of my excitement came on the weekend. Mommy helped Auntie Kara celebrate her birthday, and I Daddy and I drove Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel up to the party on our way to the Zoo.

Watching a movie with Grandma Wynne before my big adventure.

At the Zoo we saw three tigers and we ate lunch with the grizzly bear! We also climbed in the grain elevator that is part of the farm exhibit. That was fun - after you climb up, you get to ride a slide down.

Before we left the Zoo, I got a tiger to bring home. Daddy calls him Hobbes. I usually call him Bob because I have trouble saying Hobbes.

After the Zoo we went into the city and rode the train for a little while. Then we went to Josh and Kara's house for to see Freya before we took Les and Muriel home.

I was up late on Saturday after all the excitement, but I was ready to ride with Grandpa in the morning. I fell asleep on the ride back to town with Daddy and woke up at Great-grandma Dorothy's house. I visited with her, and Auntie Diane, Uncle Milton, Uncle Bill, and Uncle David, who decided to try on my hat.

When we arrived back at Grandma Wynne's, Max and Uncle Bradley were there! Max and I played with trains and chased each other around the house and played hide-and-seek. I had lots of fun.

Not too long after Max left, Daddy packed up the car and we all went home. It was so nice out Daddy took me for a walk with Duke, even though it was past my bedtime. I had so much going on this weekend it will be nice to get back to school so I can take it easy for a while.
