At Home For the Week

This week we stayed home, other than going to school. The weather was cold, and since we just saw everybody we didn't need to go visiting.

I took a bath with my new bath toys this week - the pirate ship and the float plane. I also had all my old bath toys, too. Daddy says there won't be room for me in the tub before too long.

Game night returned this week. Emily came over early to play with me and talk to Mommy. We had fun playing with my train and my tractors. Then Emily read me a bedtime story and Mommy put me to bed. After that, other people came over to eat cupcakes and play games.

On game night we celebrated Emily's birthday.

Saturday morning we got out the Play-doh and made a big mess on the dining room table.

Later on I had a snack. Duke wanted one, too.

took a nap, and then Mommy made Taco Toast for lunch and just as we were finishing - Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne came through the door!

We played with trains and read books and then Grandpa held me down while Daddy cut my hair. I only screamed a little this time. Mommy was busy using her new mixer again, making cookies and lemon cupcakes.

Grandma and Grandpa went home after supper and I relaxed with a movie (Winnie the Pooh).

On Sunday, Daddy and I built my new tow truck that I got for being a (relatively) good boy getting my haircut. Then we played with my LEGO trucks for a while, I took a nap and ate lunch. Then Daddy and I built a shed for my LEGO trucks. The shed will fit two semis with trailers or four of the straight trucks. It's really big.

And that is all for now. Even though I love going places, it was nice to stay home for change.
