Thanksgivings and Freya's Baptism

2013-12-02

Two Thanksgivings, a baptism, and a lot of driving this week.

Thanksgiving #1 was at Great-grandma Joan and Great-grandpa Eldon's house. It was a small gathering, just our hosts, Uncle Mike, and us. I played with my train, and with Great-grandma's train, and I saw some puppies and balloons on the television.

Playing with Great-grandma's train.

I guess I can play with this instead of the train...

What are you lookin' at?

I sure like that train.

I'm not going to sit still for this...

The only picture we took where I wasn't leaping out of the chair.

Thanksgiving #2 was at Great-grandma Darlene's house, and there was a smaller crowd than usual there, too. I went with Daddy, Grandpa Al, and Grandma Wynne. Uncles David and Bradley, Aunties Rhonda and Jeanne, Cousins Max, Yulia, and Gunnar were there. And Max's puppy Leo. He was really cute and soft but he kept trying to bite me.

Sunday we went to see Little Miss Freya get baptized. I was very excited to see Mommy - she was busy cooking and baking for the party so I didn't get to see her for a few days. Go to Freya's blog to see some pictures of the ceremony. I was in the playroom with Daddy while it happened because I wouldn't go into the sanctuary. That big room was just too noisy and scary for me Sunday morning.

Running trains.

Afterward we went to a reception for Freya. There was lots of room to run around, so Grandpa Al chased me while everyone else was eating and visiting. I got pretty tired by the time we were ready to leave. So did Grandpa Al.

After the party we made our way home. I was tired, but didn't go to sleep until we were on our way to our house, after we picked up Duke.

What a fun weekend! It was great to see so much of my family and so many of our friends!

Take care everyone! See you soon!
