All Better

2013-11-11

To answer the first question everyone has been asking: I am all better! The week after surgery was rough, but Mommy and Daddy stopped waking me up in the middle of the night to give medicine on Friday and I am back to normal now. But they still haven't let me eat any crackers yet.

Grandpa Al came to visit me on Tuesday. I was still hurting a lot then. We played with my trucks and watched Winnie the Pooh.

A mysterious box arrived on Thursday. Daddy let me open it.

What's in the box?

Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh had sent me some LEGOs as a get well present - and the LEGOs built Mack! That made me forget about how much my throat was hurting.

MACK!

How do I get him out of here?

Daddy's finally dine building Mack!

Friday morning I played with my LEGO trucks.

I'm trucking here!

Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne were supposed to watch me for the weekend, but Grandpa had to work unexpectedly. We went to their house to pick up Duke, since he was staying with them while I was recovering. And since we didn't have anything else to do, we went to the Zoo. We stayed in the inside part since the weather was cold and windy. I explored a few tunnels and watched the monkeys.

In another tunnel.

Since we were in the area, Mommy wanted to see Freya. We went to her house after the Zoo. I met Uncle Josh's sister Alicia while we were there. And I helped feed the puppies and played with the bean box and Freya's collection of little cars.

Before we went home we did some shopping. Well, Mommy and Daddy did; I sat with Grandma and watched a movie on the iPad while they were busy.

Out shopping with Daddy, Mommy (she took the picture), and Grandma Wynne.

And that was about it for excitement this week. I go back to school on Wednesday for the first time in two weeks and life is back to normal.

Take care everyone!
