A Full Weekend of Fun

On Thursday Daddy and I rescued a baby bunny from our window well. We let him loose and he scampered into a bush. I hope he found his mommy.

We went to see the eagles on Saturday with Urizen, Tennyson, Xander, Rhonda, and Sebastian (they also brought their puppy, Tuck).

After the presentation we walked around outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

We ate some lunch at a nice restaurant and sat outside. Then we went to a chocolate shop. After that we went to a toy store!

The toy store was closed not long after we got there, so we spent about as much time playing outside by the store as we did in the store.

Our friends followed us home so Tuck could meet Duke. Surprisingly, they got along just fine and didn't fight. Duke couldn't keep up with Tuck, since he's older and heavier. But they seemed to have fun running around the back yard.

I slept in Sunday morning, and as we were getting back to the house after a walk, Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne showed up! They came to see us on their anniversary (their actual anniversary - remember we had a party for them a little early).

Mommy and Daddy cleaned out the basement and they gave me a helmet to try on. It fits, but I didn't like it very much.

We went out for lunch and I fell asleep in the car on the way to the restaurant. I slept until the food arrived - perfect timing, eh?

Afterward we went to an ice cream shop. I didn't get any because I don't like ice cream. But Grandma and Grandpa did.

On the way home from the ice cream shop we stopped at an apple orchard with lots of cool things to see and do!

I was tired after all that, so we went home. I played with Grandma and Grandpa for a little while when Mommy and Daddy went to the store. Then I ate supper, watched a movie, and went to bed. I had so much fun, I couldn't even stay awake for a bedtime story.
