What a week! Even with pictures I have trouble remembering everything that happened, but here goes.
As you may recall, I was still in Rochester on Monday. Grandpa had the day off, but he needed to get new tires on the blue truck. So I rode with him to the tire place.
Riding in Grandpa's truck.
I had a good week in school - especially Thursday, when we had a water day. I was completely soaked. Daddy picked me up, we picked up Mommy, then Mommy and I went to Auntie Kara's house for the weekend. Daddy's present for Father's Day was time alone to play with LEGOs and relax.
Auntie Kara and Mommy took me to the Mall and we went on rides!
On the train.
In a race car with Mommy (she didn't like this ride).
Riding the balloons with Mommy.
Driving the truck - by myself this time.
The Mall was great fun. We got home late and I went to bed. After a couple of hours, I started coughing. And coughing. Mommy said I sounded like a seal and I was having trouble breathing, so Mommy and Kara took me to the emergency room. Croup again. The nurses and doctors gave me some medicine and after a while I started to get better. Mommy and I were still up most of the night, though. It was exhausting.
In the morning things were better. Mommy and I were very tired, but I wasn't coughing like the night before. I sat in the chair and read a book and watched a movie.
Reading.
Watching The Lorax.
Even though Daddy was supposed to be home alone, he came up to see me in the hospital. He stayed with us until Saturday so Mommy and Auntie Kara could get some rest.

I got out of the hospital shortly after Daddy arrived. We went to Auntie Kara's house, and then Daddy took me for a walk. We went across a big bridge and we saw lots of trucks and buses. Friday night was much better for me - I slept all the way through.
Daddy went home Saturday morning while I was taking a nap. Mommy and Auntie Kara and I went to the airport after lunch to pick up Uncle Josh. He was flying home from Thailand. At the airport I found some cool cars to sit in.
Sunday was very nice, so we spent some time outside. The highlight was playing in the little pool with Kara, Josh, and Mommy.
Ready for the water.
Me and Mommy.
Let's see if the bulldozer can swim.
Playing with Uncle Josh.
And that was it for last week. Tune in next week to find out what happened on my way home to see Daddy and Duke.
Take care, everyone!
