Me and Mommy

This week Mommy and I were on spring break, so we ditched Daddy (who still had to work) and went to stay with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al for the week.

We went to the mall with Grandma Gail and had lots of fun.

We went out to eat.

We test drove a car.

We had a full day of fun!

The next day we went to visit our friends Urizen, Tennyson, Xander, Rhonda, and Sebastian - and Tuck!

We had fun the next day, too, because we saw Grandma Gail again, and Auntie Kara came to visit!

We went out to eat at a restaurant that had something very cool...

I even got to see the first pictures of my first cousin. I thought they were a little blurry.

After we ate, we went visting.

Of course my feet are bigger than his - he's just a baby.

Daddy says he had one of these play sets for cars when he was little.

That night, Mommy went out to supper with her friend Anne and brought me home a birthday present that I missed because we had to cancel my birthday party on account of me being in the hospital. Thanks Anne, James, Isaac, and baby Aaron!

Then Mommy was feeling really sick so we stayed in the house for a couple of days. We were supposed to go visiting some more, but Mommy was very tired and she didn't want to spread her germs all over the place.

On Saturday, Daddy came to Grandma and Grandpa's house and we went to Tennyson's birthday party! It was at a very noisy, busy place with lots of games and lights and kids running everywhere.

I know you're probably tired of seeing me eat, but this is historic: my first slice of pizza.

Later that day Grandpa Al wanted to do some shopping, so we went to where Grandma Gail works and surprised her!

And on Sunday morning, Diane and Milton came over to see me and brought me an Easter basket filed with colored eggs and a stuffed lamb. They also gave me some money to buy toys! Thank you Diane and Milton!

Later in the morning I sent Mommy and Daddy out to get me some toys while I played with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne. Mommy and Daddy bought me some Matchbox cars, a little playset for the cars and a LEGO Fire truck.

And that was about all excitement I can handle for one week. I took a nap on the drive home. I had lots of fun, but it's nice to be home again because I am excited to go back to school tomorrow.
