Last week was Thanksgiving! We went west to see Mommy's family for turkey day. Lots of people were there, but it's easier to let you look than to write about it all.
Me with Jacob and Liza
Whatever that was, I want some more.
I am definitely the best dressed guy here.
So this is "pumpkin pie" - that name Mommy is always calling me.
Mommy - you've got some 'splainin' to do! This is yucky.
Hanging out with Jacob.
The card game.
Look at this big spoon Mommy...
...now look closer!
I think I can get the whole thing in my mouth.
Uncle Josh.
Me and Daddy with Uncle Mike.
Great-grandpa Eldon with Liza and Ross.
Uncle Brian and Grace.
We had a lot of fun at Thanksgiving - so we are thankful to Great-grandma Joan for getting everything and everyone together for the holiday!
After dinner and cards and playing around, we went to Auntie Kara's and Uncle Josh's house for the night. Daddy put me in bed before I was ready to be done playing, so I let him know I wasn't happy about it. Eventually I fell asleep, and Mommy and Daddy played a game with Kara and Josh while they waited up to go shopping at midnight for Black Friday.
Actually, they only went one place: the LEGO store. Daddy wanted LEGO for his birthday (which was a day after Black Friday this year), so he and Mommy went to wait in line to get the sets he's been wanting since last year.

Later in the day, we all went shopping - at a place called Choo Choo Bob's! It's a train store!
Wow!
Let me get at those trains!
And I did get those trains - I grabbed two different trains off the display tracks and got in trouble with Mommy and Daddy and a guy at the store dressed like an engineer. We went to the back of the store to play on the little kid train tables and that was more relaxing for everyone.
Me and Daddy.
I didn't know Uncle Neil had a store.
After dinner, Mommy and Daddy left me with Kara and Josh and they went to go have fun on their own. Well, that was the plan, anyway. Mommy ended up being sick - maybe food poisoning, maybe some kind of bug - and she spent the entire weekend in bed. Daddy went back to the LEGO store by himself, and the next day to a movie and to supper by himself. Mommy was really sick.
While Daddy was off on his own and Mommy was miserable, Josh and Kara took me to an indoor playground!
Let's go faster, Uncle Josh!
This looks like a fun slide.
Whooo...
Later, back at their house, I saw trains on television! And played with the new engine and tender they bought for me.
Uncle Josh! Auntie Ra-ra! There's a train on your TV!
Concentrating on getting my new engine hooked up to its tender.
In my viking hat.
I was tired after a long day of fun, so I wasn't able to keep Kara and Josh up all night like I had planned. The next day Mommy and Daddy came get me so we could go home. But I did spend the morning with Uncle Josh eating potato chips and drinking cider and watching TV. Just kidding. Well, sort of....
Watching Elmo.
Dinner time.
Wanna see my muscles?
Grrrrr....
And that was about it. We stopped at Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's on the way home to pick up Duke, and we stayed there for a while so Mommy could take a nap. We got home late, and I was asleep in the car and was transferred to the crib without much trouble. Mommy was still feeling sick, so she was ready for bed when we got home.
Thanks for reading! See you next time!
P.S. Daddy wanted me to tell everyone he says thanks again for the birthday cards and wishes and presents.
