Daddy came home last week! The harvest wasn't done, but rain made the fields too wet to work for a while.
Here are the pictures from while he was gone. There are a few more pictures than usual this time, so be prepared.
Mommy and I went to the Children's Museum by our house and there was a new exhibit!
"Full speed ahead, Mr. Scott."
Henry takes the wheel.
Doing some shopping...
...or robbing the place?
Here, let me show you how to drive this thing...
After we were done playing we went for lunch. I had grilled cheese.
Very tasty.
Then we went to see Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al and we went to the Children's Museum by their house - which is totally different!
Me and a big tree.
Another tree!
Reading a book about trains with Grandpa.
Grandpa trying to paint my face.
Grandma Wynne got her face painted.
Me and Grandma Wynne.
After we played, we went to get me some new shoes and some boots for winter.
Testing out my awesome new boots.
And then Mommy took Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al out for their anniversary (a few weeks late, but it's the thought that counts). We went to that place where the guy juggles knives and makes fire right under your nose.
Shhh! Don't tell Grandpa he's eating onion soup.
Grandma and Grandpa trying to use chopsticks.
Sake! Sake! Sake!
Grandma trying to catch broccoli in here mouth (see the green blur by her face? She missed.)
Here come the masks!
Grandma and Grandpa wearing the anniversary masks!
Now I forget what day we are on, but I went to the mall with Grandma Gail and I got to ride in one of the taxi strollers!
Where to, lady?
Having lunch with Grandma Gail.
Look Daddy, I'm eating broccoli.
When lunch was over we went to the playground at the mall and I had some fun with the other kids there.
Grandma Gail watching me ride the turtle.
Hey Grandma Gail, walk this way!
Having fun with Grandma!
Great-grandma Dorothy came over to visit while I was staying with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne.
Cupcakes by Mommy.
More cupcakes - those aren't Doritos on the cupcakes, they are chips of white chocolate with sprinkles.
Back at Grandma and Grandpa's, riding my Mack truck.
I'm finally figuring out how to drive this thing.
Showing Great-grandma Dorothy pictures of Grandpa Al's trucks.
Auntie Diane playing with my toes!
Just me.
This is me with my friend Kellie.
And then Daddy came home after a long time away. I didn't get to see him right away because he didn't get to the house until after midnight and I was asleep. But he surprised me in the morning!
Mommy went up to Game Day with Kara this past weekend, so I got to spend lots of time with Daddy. And Mommy rode the train home, so we went to pick her up at the station.
Me and Mommy by the train.
And our last adventure this week was going to an apple orchard.
We found a cool wagon for me to ride in.
And a bus to drive.
A cow to ride.
And we all went on a wagon ride pulled by a tractor!
And there were goats.
And little horses.
A pile of hay to climb...
...and slide down.
Tractors to sit in
And then the wagon to play with on the way out.
And that is a pretty good overview of what I was up to while Daddy was working for Uncle Bob, and what we did after he came home. See you next week!
