What a week!
First, congratulations to cousin Michael on being an Eagle Scout!
Second, it rained!
"Daddy, why is there water on the ground?"
"Its rain, Henry."
Mommy took me to the Children's Museum again for music time - and I got to see the fire engine again.
There's my fire engine.
Playing with a parachute - Mommy does this with her work, too.
Look at those lights....
This looks like something fun to play with.
Sometimes it seems like all I'm doing is putting out fires.
We gave Mommy the day off on Saturday and Daddy and I went to a truck show and the fair with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al.
Grandpa! Look at that truck! And that truck!
(We are standing by a Mack Superliner, which is one of Grandpa's favorite trucks.)
This truck is a Kenworth - an older one.
Resting with Daddy on a trailer.
With Daddy and Grandpa by an old Mack truck - it didn't even have doors!
Grandpa, this fire truck is like the fire truck I play with!
Another Mack Superliner for Grandpa.
I went to look at trucks on my own and Grandma had to chase me all the way across the parking lot. Can't a guy look at trucks in peace?
After the truck show, we went to buy me a new stroller, which you will see in the next set of pictures. The new stroller will fit in Daddy's car and not take up all the trunk space. We went out for lunch and I had a grilled cheese. It was yummy. I ate all of it, and my prunes, and my orange goop that Daddy gave me.
Then we went to the fair!
Whoa! That is a big horse looking at me!
Daddy! Are you petting a piggy?!
Daddy! Are you holding a baby chick?!
Baby ducks.
Baby chicks.
Watching the horses getting washed with Daddy.
Goats!
Resting at the fair before going to find the car.
After the fair, I was so tired I fell asleep in the car as soon as the air conditioning cooled me off. But Daddy wasn't done for the day, and we went to see Great-grandma Dorothy! Auntie Diane and Uncle Milton we there, and Jay and Sandy. We had fun visiting, after I woke up enough to run around.
Me and Great-grandma Dorothy.
Sunday morning it rained and rained. In the afternoon Mom and Dad took me for a drive to get me to sleep, since I wouldn't take a morning or afternoon nap. It worked - I fell asleep before we out of town.
I'm not sure where they drove to, but we ended up in a little town and we had supper at a really cool place with a music player that had lots of lights and a place to sit up by the ceiling fans. I had another grilled cheese, and I ate all of this one, too.
Me and Daddy up by the ceiling.
Running to the music box.
I was very tired when we got home, and I tried to fall asleep, I really did. But Daddy had to come in and rock me in his arms before I would go to sleep. Now Daddy says his arms and back ache from holding me for so long.
ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...asleep in Daddy's arms.
That should be enough adventure for one week, eh? Next week we are going to Tabitha's wedding, so maybe you'll see some more pictures of me busting a move out on the dance floor.
Take care everyone!
