Sorry for the delay, but here are the pictures from the week before last. But first, a bonus picture from Michael's graduation party in June.
Doing a keg stand!
(Don't worry - it's 1919 Root Beer.)
We went to the big city to celebrate Mommy's birthday with Kara and Josh. We did lots of fun things, but I'll just have to tell you about some because we were having so much fun we forgot to take pictures.
On Friday I spent the day with Daddy. We went out for lunch and walked around a mall people watching, since the outside temperature was 102. Mommy and Kara and Josh went to find some food trucks for lunch. I wanted to see the trucks, but it was too hot for me.
Saturday morning I got a big surprise: we rode the light rail downtown! It was so much fun!
Waiting to ride the light rail.
On the train with Daddy, Mommy, Uncle Josh, and Auntie Kara behind the camera.
After the train ride we went to a farmer's market down by the river - much bigger than the one we have at home. Many of the vendors were selling cooked food, which was very different. Daddy and I went for a walk out on a long bridge to see a dam while everyone else was busy. The water and the wind made a lot of spray and I didn't like it on my face, so we didn't stay on the bridge very long.
Mommy had a condiment-loaded hot dog for breakfast at the farmer's market.
Enjoying the future Baby V's stroller that Uncle Josh and Auntie Kara let me borrow when I'm in the big city.
And then we rode the train AGAIN. That was so much fun.
But the fun wasn't over yet. After lunch we went to an indoor playground. Just like the day before, the temperature was very high - right at 100. The indoor playground had a pool and a gym and a big climbing toy. We played in the gym first.
Checking everything out beforeI start playing.
On a bike.
In a daddy-powered car.
On the bike again with Josh.
Daddy being silly.
In the climbing toy, Auntie Kara and Daddy show me how to climb up a ramp covered with padded bumps.
You want me to do what, Auntie Kara?
Here I go...
I think I can.
I think I can.
I think I can.
I did! I did!
Now for the fun part: WHEEEE!
I see you!
Me with Mommy.
We did some other stuff too. Friends came over to Kara and Josh's house to play games, but I was asleep for most of that. On Sunday we went get Duke and then we went home. We were all tired from a long weekend of fun.
Last week we didn't take many pictures of me, and Mommy and Daddy left me with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al while they went to have some fun on their own. So I can't share any pictures of my stay with Grandma and Grandpa because there aren't any! However - if Mommy and Daddy have any good pictures from their trip, I'll report on what they were up to last week.
Until next time, take care everyone!
