My First Thanksgiving

2011-11-28

On Monday, Mommy made cookies for Daddy since it was his Birthday Week.

Baking with Mommy.

That looks good. I can almost reach it....

Wednesday morning, Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh stopped at our house to borrow the van on their way to go see Uncle Josh's family for Thanksgiving. They brought puppies! But no one took pictures of them....

Me with Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh.

On Wednesday night we went to Rochester to get ready for Thanksgiving.

Having a drink with Uncle Neil (don't worry, no alcohol).

Bottoms up!

Me and Grandma Wynne.

Thanksgiving morning I was playing in my chair, waiting for guests to arrive.

The chair is playing my song....

Grandma Gail and Grandpa Kevin came over early, and Grandma fed me. She was smart and wore a vest that was the same color as the food I was eating.

Grandma Gail feeding me my lunch.

Lots of people came over to celebrate Thanksgiving and Daddy's birthday with us - the house was packed! Too much talking and not enough picture taking, though. We didn't get pictures of me with everyone.

Me with Aunt Janice and Uncle Jerry.

Playing with Grandpa Kevin and his watch.

Playing on the table with Daddy and Great-grandma Darlene.

Me with Uncle Denny - this is my first time meeting him (he saw me sleeping one time before when I was little).

Mommy and Daddy left me at Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house on Friday and went to have some fun without me. I fooled them. I had fun on my own and with Great-grandma Darlene and Max and Bradley.

Great-grandma Darlene supervising me eating my bottle.

Putting a puzzle together with Max and his Daddy.

Here's Max with the finished puzzle.

Me wearing the hat Grandpa Al gave me. It says "got milk?"

Back at home, Mommy and Daddy got the house in order and I had something to eat. Then Josh and Kara came stopped by to drop off the minivan. Auntie Kara brought a snowsuit for me to wear - but it was a little too big. She's going to find a slightly smaller one.

Me in my snowsuit.

Sunday night I was really tired. Daddy read some books and I helped turn the pages. I like to turn the pages when we read. I am an avid page-turner and listener. We read The Lorax. Daddy said that my pajamas made me look like a Brown Bar-ba-loot in his Bar-ba-loot suit. I went to bed early, but Mommy came in to check on me and this is what I was doing:

I'm a brown bar-ba-loot in my bar-ba-loot suit!

That's all the news from the last week. Take care everyone!
