More Busyness

2011-09-27

We had another full week.

On Wednesday I went with Daddy, Grandpa Al, and Great-grandma Dorothy to see Great-grandma Darlene. Daddy didn't bring my Eating Chair, so we had to do things the old fashioned way: they tied me up.

Me, tied to a chair.

I had fun visiting with the great-grandmas for the afternoon.

Getting sleepy...

Now I'm feeling silly!

Hey! We haven't had a picture of me with food all over my face for a while:

I look like Daddy when he was a baby.

On Saturday I went to garage sales with Mommy, Grandma Wynne, and Grandma Gail. We looked at a lot of stuff but didn't find much to buy. Then we went to Target and I got this cool monster outfit!

This is my new rocking horse. It'll do until I get a motorcycle.

Rawr?!

Hey, Duke! What's up?

The boys.

On Sunday morning we went to visit Great-grandma Dorothy for a little bit before going to meet Grandma Gail, Auntie Kara, and Uncle Josh for lunch.

Just me, looking cute.

Me with Auntie Diane. She came over to see me while we were at Great-grandma's.

I was crabby and sleepy when it was time for lunch, so Daddy took me back to Grandma and Grandpa's to take a nap. Everybody came over after they ate.

Uncle Josh had never fed a baby food with a spoon before, so he tried to feed me some mashed up banana and prunes. This was not a good flavor profile.

Guys, I'm not sure I like bananas and prunes mixed together.

Yeah, I really don't like this stuff. Yeeecchhhhh!

Shortly after the prunes and banana debacle, Grandma Gail, Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh all left to go home, and then we left to go home, too. We had a lot of excitement this weekend, and I had fun seeing Grandma Gail and Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh on Sunday.

I have an important announcement: I'm going to take some time off from doing the blog, so there won't be any updates for a couple of weeks. When the blog starts up again, I'll write about all the things we did and put up the pictures, so don't worry about missing anything. I just need a break. It's hard work being a baby (and I have a cold right now).

Take care, everyone - have a good first half of October!
