Now I am Six (months)

We had a big week. On Tuesday I went to stay with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al for the night so Mommy and Daddy could go to a baseball game. Me and Mommy got the tickets for Daddy's first Father's Day. Grandma was at work when I got to the house, so Grandpa was watching me. He brought Great-grandma Dorothy over to help him out.

Me and Great-grandma Dorothy.

Grandpa Al is reading me a story.

Grandpa Al got lucky - Grandma arrived home just before I made a dirty diaper.

Me and Grandma Wynne watching Duke and Nakita.

On Wednesday night when we got back home, something strange happened...

P

Hey, I'm sitting on the table - what's going on?

Umm...what is this stuff? This isn't my bottle. I want my bottle.

Hmm...maybe it isn't so bad.

More!

Wait - what am I supposed to do with this once it is in my mouth? Spit it back out?

Here comes the towel!

Cleaned up and ready to try again.

Daddy gives it a go.

C'mere - lemme give you a smooch!

Mommy and Daddy gave up before I smeared all of it all over me. The spoon is the same one Daddy learned to eat with a long time ago.

Thursday I went to see the doctor for my six-month check-up. Everything is good. The Doc said I am healthy and proportional, even though I am a very big little boy. I also got some more shots.

Me and Mommy waiting to see the doctor.

Me getting some shots. They don't seem to hurt.

NOW THEY HURT! OUCH!

Later that day...

Hey, I'm on the table again....

Really? You're trying this again?

And then on Saturday...

This isn't the same as the other stuff. Yuck.

Don't take my picture! I've got orange gunk all over my face!

Yecchhh! I don't like orange gunk.

Tired. Turn that light off.

Daddy thought the best way to get all the orange gunk off me was a bath.

After my bath, in my monster towel.

My friend heard about the orange gunk incident and came to visit me.

There's Pooh Bear! He came to see me again!

Mommy and Daddy were cleaning on Sunday and they found something interesting:

Henry Crockett.

Me and Dad, hangin' in the living room.

Sunday afternoon we all went for a walk. Which was fine. Though I'm not sure what they were thinking when they stuck me in this thing...

Uh, guys? What is going on here?

C'mon - don't leave me hanging!

And that's about it. Next week promises to be less exciting.

Take care everyone!
