First Week at Home

2011-02-06

This week I got to see where my dad works. Mom and Dad brought the camera, but they forgot to take it out, so there is no photographic evidence of the event. Next time I go there, I'll remind them to take some pictures.

I've been eating more. Mom and Dad have stopped setting an alarm to remind them to feed me every few hours because now I let them know. Sometimes I cry and fuss even when I'm not hungry, just to keep them on their toes.

Giving Dad an assist on holding the bottle.

This is my room. I like to sit on this big red chair/pillow thing with Mom and Dad.

The big foam chair in my room is our favorite place to sit. Mom and Dad like it because it is comfortable and it makes it easy to support my still-floppy head. We spend a few hours in it every day.

This week we had more visitors. Mommy's friend Jenna stopped on Friday night. On Saturday, Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne brought Great-grandma Darlene to see me for the first time. Great-grandma Dorothy came with them as well, and so did Great-uncle Brad and cousin Max. Later in the afternoon, Mommy and Daddy's friends Andy and Heather stopped by. The big people did some visiting - I just listened. And when I took a nap, Mom and Dad played Dominion with Andy and Heather.

Max really likes babies. He also played with my LEGOs.

Hey! You guys are all in my bubble - I need some space!

Wonder of wonders, Andy is holding a baby! And it's me!

He almost looks like he knows what he's doing.

Andy and Heather are laughing because Dad told Andy he should post this picture on Facebook and claim that he and Heather had adopted a baby in secret.

Well, that's about all the exciting stuff that happened this past week. Coming up, Dad has to go back to work and I will get to go to the hospital for a check-up.
Thanks to everyone for coming to see me and sending presents. I really appreciate how thoughtful everyone has been, and so do Mom and Dad.
