Not a lot going on this week. School of course - all the usual stuff, like sociology, French, math, history, literature, and so on. And I was learning in the kitchen, too. I went sledding with Jonathan on Monday and otherwise we stayed home, except for going on some walks.
Mom's scones and tea.

Mom experimented with some corn tortillas, which were pretty good.
Don't let the look on my face fool you, I liked them.
More scones!
I also helped make the focaccia this week - I am folding the dough in this picture.
Food Lab is still all about potatoes. This week: baked potatoes. I also made the biscuits by myself this time. And they turned out great!

Mom is really loving scones with her tea. She is baking some every couple of days.
Even more scones!
Dad and I were out for walks this weekend, and we did see one interesting thing:
Motorcycles racing on the lake.
For reading this week, I started Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. I really like it - it's even better than And Then There Were None. I was also working on finishing my paper on A Christmas Carol. Dad and I have not been listening to our book, but we are going to finish it next week.
For viewing, we watched a documentary about people obsessed with boy bands called I Used To Be Normal. I did not like the way it started, but by the end it was pretty good. I have no idea why people would like boy bands so much, but they probably wouldn't get why I like LEGO so much - and that was kind of the point of the movie, I think. We started a new series on food called Grow, Cook, Eat, which is about growing your own food and what to do with it once it is done growing (spoiler: you cook it and eat it). We also watched some Big Bang Theory and Battlestar Galactica during the week. On Friday we watched Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, which is a play by Tom Stoppard about what two characters from Hamlet are doing in-between their scenes in that play. We watched the movie version, of course. It was funny. Just for fun, Dad and I watched Ratatouille on Saturday, and on Sunday we went back to watching Roots.
And that was my week. Take care everyone - and stay safe!
